Guanciale is made from the cheek of the pig. This amazing cut is a wonderful combination of meat and fat which is cured and air-dried. The taste has a sweetness about it, combined with the saltiness, it's truly delicious! Guanciale is a bacon and will need to be cooked before eating. We recommend thinly sliced, cooked for a few seconds on each side in a very hot pan. Sold whole and vacuum packed. (Avg. 400g). Allergen free.
